Essentially Hemp: 60-Second Summary
Essentially Hemp appears to prefer letting the numbers speak for themselves. There’s nary a word to be found on the company’s background or general ethos, yet there’s plenty of transparency on the safety and quality of its hemp and CBD oil on its site. Third-party lab test results and direct communique opportunities with the company’s pair of hemp growers abound, making it clear that Essentially Hemp has a safe product on offer, regardless of why the company wanted to begin selling it.

Essentially Hemp Brand Review
Essentially Hemp has put together quite an interesting website.
In the unregulated world of cannabidiol, there tends to be a prevailing “anything goes” attitude, and many companies appear to exist merely to push the boundaries of acceptable business practices.
With an abject lack of background information on the company or any attempt to describe a greater purpose, Essentially Hemp, at first blush, appears to be one of these sites. But the company does offer a surprising amount of insight into its product.
A robust page of up-to-date and satisfactory third-party lab test results is one of the few internal links provided by Essentially Hemp, as well as a page about the couple who farms the company’s hemp crops in Kentucky. (There’s even a button to communicate with the farmer’s directly!)
Up for offer is a line of full-spectrum cannabidiol products, including CBD oil tinctures, a variety of hemp-infused body balms, CBD oil soap, and cannabidiol-boosted deodorant. Also notable: The line-up of beauty products utilizes only all-natural ingredients, which is generally rare to come by in that industry. Prices range from $4.50 for a single bar of soap to $214 for a pair of the company’s most potent CBD oil tinctures.
Bottom line: Essentially Hemp is quite a quietly impressive operation. While the company stays mostly mum on its general purpose, background, or beliefs, its products do plenty of talking, with third-party lab test results speaking for their safety, a direct link to the company’s farmers putting a personal spin on their crops, and an all-natural line-up of ingredients to complement their cannabidiol. (With the simple addition of an FAQ or “About Us” section, the company could easily earn a few more of our badges.)

What is Hemp?
Industrial hemp is a variety of Cannabis sativa and is of the same plant species as marijuana. However, hemp is genetically and chemically different. By law, hemp refers specifically to cannabis varieties that contains less than 0.3% THC (delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, marijuana’s primary psychoactive chemical).
From Soil to Oil
Essentially Hemp products are processed from the floral material of a hemp variety that contains high levels of phytocannabinoids referred to as Cannabidiol, or CBD.
Kentucky approved hemp varieties are chosen, based on high amounts of CBD and multiple terpenes, and grown using organic practices. Using only the dried floral material, the oil is extracted, lab tested, blended and formulated to ensure purity, and potency. Our goal is to provide a safe, consistent, and effective product that our customers can trust.
