Acid weed strain
Mental Holiday… Looking for a soaring high that numbs pain and has the ability to take you away from the day to day grind? Look no further than Acid, an indica/sativa cross that is our own take on the original New York City Diesel.
The original strain of the Diesel was developed in the US. We selected a Diesel mother plant and crossed it with our favorite Dutch genetics to create Acid, one of our next generation strains. This breeding process has created a cross variety that comes with real super powers. It is stronger and more potent than the original Diesel and produces big yields too.
As the name suggests, expect a powerful combination of narcotic sensations (positive and uplifting with a pleasant psychedelic stirring). The taste and smell, which inspired the name Acid, is specific – metallic and slightly petrol – in keeping with the distinctive flavor of Sour Diesel.
This strain is good for indoor and outdoor growing. The inside gardener will appreciate this plant because it is enjoyable to grow 9-10 weeks flowering time). That said, when it flowers it becomes rather fruity and the smell can be an issue if you don’t have good filters in place. However, if your odor beaters are well secured, then the bouquet of this plant is one of its special characteristics.
Outdoor, Acid will grow in the northern hemisphere (up to 50º n.L.), although yields won’t be so impressive as those plants grown in warmer climates. This plant responds well to sun beams and will reward the grower in southern regions around the Mediterranean, from Spain to Croatia, southern US states and parts of South America.
The effects of Acid are impressive. Expect to feel as light as an angel and your day to take an unexpected shine. Definitely good for inspiration, not to mention an energizing tonic if you need some get up and go for a night time shuffle. Acid is a favorite with medical cannabis users too, easing the symptoms of pain and depression and lifting the body.

- My favorite Diesel Strain Review by Sticky Fingers
Living in Colorado I’ve had them all (diesels). Acid is a horrible name but regardless of the name what a beautiful plant. I started three seeds and everyone of them germinated and all three phenotypes where amazing. Which made it extremely hard to pick a mother. The phenotype I picked didn’t have the best bud structucture but it had the diesel flavor and smell I was looking for. I grew this strain with Botanicare nutrients in coco and coco nuggets under a 600 watt hps. I found this strain to get a little stressed from the light so be careful not to let get too close to the light source. Other then that this strain clones very easy and love regular strength nutrients. I harvested at 10 weeks and found that extra week really made a difference in weight and looks. The taste of this is a Diesel with a zesty fruity punch. I really love this one thanks Paradise Seeds. (Posted on 5/21/2015)

One of the best Diesel cross Review by Rodia
Hi folks. I run this beauty since it hit the market. And as a true Diesel Lover i place that Acid version in my top 3 . I run a 20 plants per square meter and the aroma was undescriptable (fuel mix whit grape candy?). Carbon filter is not an option here. Doing a sea of green in 2 liters pots give me a respectable pound of head buds . All whit the Diesel multicolours buds leafs at the end of flowering. A minimum of 30 days of curing is to me satisfying but i cured 4 mounths. My buds have spear shape but dense and heavy. To end up whit one of the most pleasent sativa hybrid to inhale. The potency is higher than ak-47 and white widow . To me its a keeper. I rate this strain overall 8.5 on 10. (Posted on 12/8/2011)
It is well worth it to break open the nugs of this varietal! Review by GreenHealth Cooperative
SCJ Cannsbis Profile #13
Provider: GreenHealth Cooperative
Grown by: Unknown
Phenotype: Sativa Dominant
Genetics: Diesel x Unknown Dutch
Smell/Taste: Sweet citrus, sharp
Effects: uplifting, cerebral, confident
Positive: consistently uplifting, creative, sharp, weightless sensation
Negative: loses some clarity in high doses
Quality of Life: Anxiety, Assistance with trauma processing, relief from physical discomfort (patients who consistently experience medicinal benefits not listed here, please e-mail: [email protected])
I am always looking diversify my collection of Sativa dominants. A functionally creative high with clarity is a god send to meet my needs both medicinally and as a writer. I previously avoided ‘Acid’ on name alone, anticipating the mind-bending high of other varietals touting psychedelic potential. However, this strain is a cross between an unknown Dutch and an excellent Diesel phenotype. Far from the ego-crushing potential of Jack f6 or LSD. Here we see Diesel’s confident swagger brought center stage, but smoothed out with a slathering of sympathetic awareness-presumably an influence of the selected Dutch mother.
The Paradise Seed’s advertisement Acid’s grape fruit aroma, a sweet citrus that matures when given attention. Resting on the surface is a dark spice, a softer version of fuel’s skunk. The smoke introduces pleasantly with full-bodied hits that remains smooth and packed with a candied grapefruit that rests on the palate. A deep flavor, it has the potential to fill the nostrils with the spice of mature fruits, especially for those vaporizing at optimal temperatures. The buds can form densely, filling out completely with plump calyx and pungent resin. To experience a full spectrum of terpenes, It is well worth it to break open the nugs of this varietal.

Bringing a high that combines pain numbing properties with psychedelic tendencies, this is our own take on the world famous diesel
Acid weed strain
Available in feminized seed form only, this plant was made by crossing Barney’s favorite in-house Skunk strain with a potent Mazar, resulting in a fairly heavy Indica plant that manages to retain some of the Sativa head effects from the Skunk. A hearty plant that resists disease and mold, it definitely gets its structure and height from the Afghani side of its lineage rather than the Skunk, though it is also a good producer thanks to the hybrid vigor of the cross.
Mazar x Skunk #1
The Barney’s Farm crew named the strain “L.S.D.” after experiencing its potent and trippy effects.
A tangy lemon-lime musk is the standard smell, but at times there is a sweet, creamy, almost nutty aroma that comes out of certain phenotypes.
It varies according to phenotype, but generally it’s a slightly sweet musk with hints of citrus. The taste is definitely dominated by the Afghani part of the lineage rather than the Skunk.
Starting off with an increase in visual acuity and a strongly spacey mental state, this strain can seem like it’s a Sativa early on, living up to the psychedelic namesake. Once those initial effects passed, it still seems to stay mostly in the face but the body presence grows greatly as it progresses. A creeping numbness and warmth enters the body, leaving the user able to get up and be active or simply sit and relax. The end of the experience was more sedate and relaxing, bordering on tired-feeling. This strain is recommended to intermediate users who want a little more adventure in their Indica relief.
Grows well in any medium, grows to a fairly standard to short height and produces well for its size.
